Handle with care
Take care when removing the cellophane which may contain water. The bouquet does not need to be untied as it is designed to be placed straight into a vase.
These flowers loose for you to arrange in one or two vase as you choose.
Arranging your flowers in cold water should be avoided as this can significantly reduce the longevity of your gift. Do not put flowers in metal or aluminium containers, glass is ideal. Keep your flowers in a cool location, away from draughts, direct heat or sunlight.
Your flowers may take up to 24 hours after being placed in water to reach their full potential.
Strip off all excess foliage and leaves below the water level to reduce and harmful bacteria within the water. Bacteria can block the stem and stop the flowers taking up the water.
Flowers like their stems trimmed. So, trim them, at an angle with a knife (rather than scissors) by an inch or so. When trimming stems, always cut at an angle of roughly 45degrees; this increases the surface area allowing your flowers to absorb more water.
If a Rose stars to droop at the head, re-cut the stem, wrap the head in paper to support it upright and plunge 5cms of the stem into boiling water for about 30 seconds. Cut the stem again and place in deep cold water for two hours.
Every order is accompanied by a sachet of cut flower food which will encourage bids to open and help to prolong the life and beauty of your flowers. Top up regularly with water and flower food, removing any fading flowers.
Ensure the floristry foam used in arrangements is moist and topped up daily; this helps to prolong the life and vibrancy of your arrangements, remove fading flowers.
Most plants like the light and temperature of their natural habitat. Try to reproduce these conditions wherever possible. Avoid draughts, fumes and extreme temperatures. Water regularly and fertilise as required.
Certain plants and flowers may be harmful or care irritation. Take care when handling and wash hands after arranging as a precaution. In case of irritation wash effected area with cold water, consult a doctor if symptoms persist.
Lily pollen may stain, carefully remove stamens from any newly opened blooms and avoid direct contact
Fruit used in arrangements for decorative only do not eat!
Candle are for decoration only, please be careful upon lighting them, do not leave a lit candle unattended at any time.
We recommend that you do not place your flowers/plants on an unprotected surface.
